My name is Jessica Miller. I’m a wife, mom, life coach, and CEO of my own company.

Q : What time can I arrive on Wednesday, April 26th?
A : You may arrive as early as 8:00 am, but your room may not be ready until 3 pm. Lunch is provided and included (breakfast is not). A Welcome Dinner and Reception will be arranged - location, and time TBD. Dinner will be informal and open for people to stop in when they arrive.

Q : Will there be downtime?
A : This is both a business and rejuvenation retreat. We have specifically crafted the itinerary so that you not only have time to work on your business, but also to support and care for your most important asset – YOU. As such, we have built plenty of free/downtime each day for restoration and to nourish yourself in whatever way you’d like. There is also an extensive schedule of included classes and services that you will have access to during your stay at the Ranch.

Q : Will there be homework during the retreat?
A : During the retreat we will be providing ample time for you to not only learn new concepts, but also time to apply what you’re learning. You can certainly continue to work through these things after the daily sessions, but how much or little is up to you, and is not a requirement.

Q : What activities are offered at the Canyon Ranch?
A : At Canyon Ranch, a holistic approach is part of the mission, with a wide variety of activities and programs available to you that are included in your retreat fee. Some examples of this are – group hikes, yoga, aquatics, fitness classes and creative arts. In addition, we have included a $200 per person per day service allowance that can be used toward any fee-based programming or services that may not be included in your ticket (and we hope that you will take full advantage of this!). We encourage you to check the program at Canyon Ranch before (and closer to) your arrival date for up-to-the-minute activities and availabilities.

Q : What should I wear/what should I bring?
A : Pack light and casual: exercise clothes, outdoor and casual clothes, comfortable footwear, bathing suits, hiking boots, and a hat. Spring is an incredible time in the Berkshires and at the Canyon Ranch, and the weather in Lenox is most beautiful but can also be brisk and sometimes wet. If you plan to be active outdoors, dress in layers that you can put on and take off to stay comfortable.

Q : What food options are available? If I have food sensitivities, can this be accommodated?
A : Canyon Ranch is the world’s recognized leader in healthy living and holistic wellness retreats. They have received countless awards and accolades for their innovative approach to health and fitness, and the serene, relaxing, and inspiring spa environments. Canyon Ranch provides options for all types of food preferences. Specifically, they offer several gluten free and vegan options on their menus daily. If you have significant food allergies or complex dietary restrictions, please let us know, and we will do our best to work with the staff to accommodate your needs.

Q : Is there transportation to and from the Canyon Ranch?
A : Complimentary and round-trip transportation is available from Albany International Airport, Albany, NY (ALB), Bradley International Airport, Windsor Locks, CT (BDL), as well as pick-up at the Albany train station and airport hotels. You must call Canyon Ranch with your arrival time at least 72 hours in advance of your arrival.
Canyon Ranch is also easily accessible via car from Taconic Parkway, I-90, and Route 2, and is a 3-hour ride from Boston and a 3.5-hour ride from New York City. Complimentary Valet Parking is available upon arrival.

Q : Will I have direct access to you/Jess during the retreat?

A : The retreat is designed for business leaders who have a clear message and some idea of their ideal customer. This doesn’t mean you won’t make shifts and refine your plan during these few days, but we won’t be starting from scratch.

A : All of your payments, including your deposit, are non-refundable. I believe in you, your time, and your future, and believe that all of them are worth the investment. Q : How is this retreat different than other retreats?
A : Most retreats are a handful of days where you show up, sit captive at a table, and work for many hours straight, all while having to make dozens of decisions all day long. In the end, you often feel exhausted, depleted, and like you have more work than you did when you arrived.
In contrast, for this retreat all you need to do is show up.
